New Pad

Well Lorelai had her first Thanksgiving along with moving into her new pad. With Harry going to nights we finally came to the realization that he would not have the time to get Lorelai and Lil Harry a crib built before they were 5. Therefore we asked Aunt Jen & Uncle Nick if we could borrow Maddie's crib and Harry will just build the kids their headboard and foot board when they get bigger. This being said they brought the crib up with them last night when they came for Thanksgiving. I know it drove Harry nuts to have to sit and eat with the family before going upstairs and putting the crib together. He was like a 2 year old at Christmas. So not only did Lorelai get a crib last night but she got to move into Ellaree's room. What fun! Thankfully both kids slept through the whole night and this morning was just precious as I listened on the monitor.

E: Good morning sissy

L: dadda

E: I like you sharing my room with me.

L: dadda (screech)

E: Did you sleep good sissy?

When momma finally came into the room both girls were still in their own beds and they were so happy. It was one of those sweet innocent moments that just melted my heart. Ellaree declared that she likes Lorelai sleeping in her room with her. :)
