Well momma's little Monkey is crawling all over the place. No stopping her now! She is pulling herself up on the couches, walking along the couches and Sunday night while at Uncle Jerod's trick-or-treating she decided it was a good time to start saying Da-da! Which of course made someones day. Although it was very cute with Ellaree's response...."can you say Elly!" I am sure that will be next or some sort of version of sissy, Elly, sister, Bug...you know all the various names I have given my kids. It is very cute because Lorelai gets all excited when Harry enters a room and she says Da-da until he comes over and picks her up. Although this morning she called the purple puppy Da-da...does this mean that he looks like the purple puppy or the other way around. Oh well, it is cute at any rate. So we are officially up to two words...momma (although she only says this when she is mad or tired) and now da-da! I love this stage where they are learning to talk, walk and explore!
Other exciting news is that Harry is now the proud owner of a 2003 Dodge, 3/4 ton, Diesel Cummins manual pickup truck. His other truck was perfectly fine for him while he was driving milk truck as he didn't need to rely on it for transportation. Once he started driving to Kwik Trip every day which is about 48 miles round trip from our house we realized very quickly that it was not going to last very long. The transmission is going out on it and he was getting a little less then 10 miles to the gallon...so not economical. So we found this truck that was a smoken deal. We test drove it over the weekend and he fell in love with it. I got my first driving lesson on a manual which didn't go very well as I kept putting it in 3rd vs 1st and would kill it each time. Oh well I guess more driving lessons coming my way.
I do have pictures of the girls in their Halloween costumes but I have not had time to upload them onto my computer yet. I am hoping tomorrow while I am at home.
