UPDATES

We are still waiting on hearing from the clinic as to when Elly's appointment with Dr. Stans will be. Yesterday her consult at Mayo was approved but then the insurance company found out that Dr. Nulte had send Dr. Stans Elly's x-rays and therefore they figured that she had already been seen for a consult. So then Dr. Nulte's nurse had to call the insurance company and explain that Dr. Nulte called and talked with Dr. Stans and Elly was really never seen by Dr. Stans. So now we are waiting to hear from Dr. Stans as to what he would like to do as tests, consult, etc. before the clinic schedules anything and of course that all has to be approved through the insurance company. So we are at home today waiting to hear something. Hopefully in the morning then making us wait all day like yesterday. How frustrating when you just want to know what is going on.

Waiting did not effect Elly and her need to help mommy and daddy out. She helped us wash the kitchen floor last night. It was quite the family event.

Dr. Lisa reminds women that the vagina is like a self-cleaning oven, so there’s no need to interfere with Mother Nature. Dr. Ordon points out that in a society obsessed with germs and cleanliness, there’s still nothing wrong with using good old-fashioned soap and water - unless you’re performing surgery, of course!
