More updates

Well here are a couple of more updates...

First - Elly...Dr. Nulte called a little after 5 tonight to let me know that the doctor at Mayo had just received Elly's films from the carrier. Due to the bad weather (I will get to that in a moment) the carrier was delayed. Dr. Nulte said that the Mayo doctor would look at them first thing in the morning and call him. After they discuss they will call me at work and let me know what they would like to do. This was reassuring as after 5 I was pretty sure I would not hear from him yet tonight. Very much appreciated that he called on his way home from the hospital.

Also, when we got home today from Elly's appointment she started to walk. In the past couple of days she would try but with no success. Today she can with help from the walls to steady her. It is almost like we are starting all over again with helping her to walk. I just happened to have the camera right there so I snapped a couple of seconds of her walking for you to view.

Second - weather...we had freezing rain and snow predicted tonight 2-3 inches. I think that summer is gone and fall never really got a fighting chance as winter is already here. 2 years ago we were praying very hard as we were in the middle of a snowstorm at our rehearsal. The day of our wedding was quite fine. Very much snow but the roads were ok. It reminds me of rehearsal night when I wasn't sure if we would have guests or not.
