Thanksgving Observed

Each year we have what is called Thanksgiving Observed at the farm with Papa Harry & Nonie. They generously invite my parents along with some good friends The Brown's. Other years we have had Jerod there, Nonie's sister Barb. It is a free-for-all really. Whoever can make comes. Of course, this is around Christmas time and so we have all the Thanksgiving traditional foods but at Christmas time. Elly was very excited about going over since she has not seen them for quite some time.

Elly gave Papa Harry & Nonie a personalized calendar or another words The Elly Show. Next year she will need to share though.

When the evening was all said and done Mommy & Daddy went home and Elly had a sleepover. Although she was not so sure of herself at first and did shed a few tears (that hurt mommy more then Elly - I think) she soon figured out the fun of no mommy & daddy patrol and got down to business of having some fun. I got good reports throughout the night and day. What a nice surprise to get at work a few pictures of her having fun. When she came back, it was an exhausted Ellaree that we got!
