Yesterday Harry went and picked up Elly at daycare and they went to town to purchase a new big girl bed. Her crib that Harry made will fit for a full size mattress. Why not spend a little extra money and get one that she can use until she is ready to buy her own. So off they went (Papa tagged along too) and they all went to get it. Elly was so excited. She got to help out her sheets on and make her bed. She was excited about even going to bed. No issues through the night. This morning she woke up and called for mommy, I went to the bottom of the stairs and told her that she could come downstairs on her own..."oh I have a big girl bed, I can wake up on my own". And then we went back to bed 4 more times before I finally got her out the door for daycare. I would not be surprised if that is all Lori hears today, because it was sure the first thing that Elly told Lori this morning. What a goofy girl.
