Christmas With Mommy & Daddy

After we opened our gifts from Santa which entailed and I forgot to mention in my earlier post...baby doll cradle and lots of cool stocking stuffers...Christmas silverware, panties, socks, stickers, Dora band aids, and lots more!

Then it was time for gifts from Mommy & Daddy.

Elly got a traveling magdadoodle, which of course she thought right away was her very own computer. She carries it all around. She loves it!

Elly loves to dress up and be pretty. But of course when you went to the stores to find a dress up kit, they were very expensive. So mommy brain was turned on and we made our very own with very inexpensive items (thanks mostly to the Dollar Tree)!

Elly was definitely feeling very pretty in her dress up clothes!

A couple of weeks before Christmas, Harry had the day off but I didn't. Elly & Harry spent the day together and went Christmas shopping for Mommy. I thought it was very sweet. That night and many times afterwards Elly would point to my Willow Tree Angel collection and say "see those angels, I buy you one". Very innocent like. All I could do was tell her that it was very sweet of her. So when I opened my gifts there to my surprise was an angel from Elly, Daddy let her pick it out all by herself. Elly got me the Spirit Of Giving. I also got one from Harry which was called Quietly. It is a mother holding a baby and a toddler standing my the mother. Both are very precious to me.

And of course Daddy got lots of goodies...some Mommy might be regretting giving him. He got 15 hours of World War II Documentary DVD's. Along with three books of Untold Stories of History, War & Presidents. So much for Daddy's Honey Do List getting done. Just kidding.
