Jerod's Homecoming

Yesterday was finally the day that Uncle Jerod came home. We have been doing a count down calendar and it has been hard to only put on princess sticker up a day.

Jerod arrived around 4 PM on the biggest plane ever. It seemed like it took forever to let them get off the plane. But finally the doors opened. What cheers there was from everyone. We found out later that the 32nd Brigade came home with every single soldier that they took over there. What a sigh of relief that is to hear those words.

The plane is finally here...Jerod was the 4th or 5th guy off the plane!

When Uncle Jerod got to us, in his backpack was a monkey for each of the girls.
