Christmas With Santa

Christmas this year with Santa was very exciting as Elly really got into it. Weeks prior she did not want anything to do with him. We never did get around to going and seeing him this year but I wonder how it really would have went. So I think it was ok that we laid low this year, maybe next year. When the time came to put the cookies and milk out for Santa I wondered if we would start crying and maybe be a little scared. But she did great. We took a stool in by the tree and set the cookies & milk on it. Then we told her it was time to go to bed. Elly then asked about the lights and were we going to keep them on for Santa to see. What a great question - yes we were going to leave them on and the lights over the hutch so that he could see to fill her stocking.

Elly was not sure what to think when she came down the next morning and there was a gift from Santa. And what happened to his cookies & milk. Someone ate them!

Very cool that my baby now has her very own cradle.
The stocking was the best part...how much stuff can Santa really stuff in there?
