We have all heard the radio ads, the TV commercials and people talking about going out and walking to raise money for a cause. I know that we do it for our local breast cancer awareness. But it really doesn't hit home until it is in your family....THEN it hits home.
This past year we have watched Kassy, our soon-to-be sister-in-law and aunt, struggle with being diagnosed, taking different medications to learning, and to deal with this on a daily basis. Needless to say, she is a very strong lady who has done a remarkable job coping with this thus far. Talking to her and standing next to her you would never know to look at her that she struggles with this. She is a remarkably strong young lady and I am so happy to soon be related to her and to help in anyway possible.
April 28th will mark our first annual Walk MS in LaCrosse, WI. We are so excited as our team has already raised over $1200 and we are still going strong. We are having team t-shirts made up and all of her family and friends is rallying around for this big event to show our love and care towards Kassy.
