Happy Valentine's Day

Today was Ellaree's Valentine Day Party at school.  All the parents were welcomed to join the fun. This morning of course she asks if I was coming.  Since I really didn't think she would want me there and with the kids sick I hadn't really thought twice about going.  So at quarter to seven this morning I was text messaging Grama in hopes that she would be able to watch the two little ones for a little bit.  Yes she could! Grama to the rescue again! So I dropped Ellaree off at school and headed for Grama's house.  I went back to school a little bit earlier as I wanted to check on a student I help out with as he had surgery yesterday, I wanted to check out the lost and found and I visited a couple of minutes with some of the teachers.

And then the fun began.  I still do not know how Mr. Harger does it every day.  But he manages to keep 18 boys and girls all together, happy and loving school.   Here are a couple of pictures I got during the party of Valentine cards and lots of sweets!
Mr. Harger, Shelby & Jenna (two high school students who help out in the classroom) handing out the Valentine bags.  See Ellaree on the end by Mr. Harger's.

Ellaree wanted me to take a picture of each individual Valentine she opened.  I figured one looked just like the next therefore she got one close up.

It did not take long for the kids to rip into their bags and find all the goodies.  Along with all the yummy goodies that were sent.  We had a great time and they were all very well sugared up by the time we were ready to go home.

Ellaree started swimming lessons at the hospital this week at 5 in the evening.  It is only for a week which is good but we want her to get as much water as possible as she doesn't care for her face getting wet.  She did say she had fun, her hair was wet last night and so I think it went well.  This pool is much smaller then the summer pool at the high school, therefore the parents drop them off at the door and pick them up afterwards.  On Friday we will get to go in and watch for 15 minutes and they reminded us to bring out cameras.  :)

Yesterday the kids started feeling much better.  We still have runny noses and coughs but that is way better then the vomiting that was going on.  We are looking forward to having Lorelai's birthday party this Saturday and the two of us going to LaCrosse together on Friday.
