Happy Birthday Lorelai

Yesterday Lorelai turned 2...wow how fast that went.  Valentines night I text messaged my brother Jerod and asked him what he was doing 2 years ago.  He admitted to really thinking about it but he finally figured it out...he was babysitting Miss Ellaree that night, by himself, for the first time ever.  He did a great job even though I tease him that Ellaree is still in detox from being spoiled too much.  Oh what great memories we have of each child's birth.

Lorelai had a great day (I think).  Daddy went to work super early and was home by 345 that afternoon to spend some time with her.  I had to take Ellaree to swimming lessons at 5 therefore I took Harry with me and we hung out while Ellaree swam and Lorelai hung out with Daddy.  It was a win win situation for everyone.  We brought home Pizza Hut and Grama had sent home 2 cans of Mug Root Beer as a treat.  Therefore little pizza was consumed and a lot of soda.  But I guess that is what you get to do on your birthday. 

Lorelai got a Cloud B Twilight Ladybug.  This is a very cool LED nightlight that has a plush body but the shell is hard and is a nightlight without having to plug into a socket.  Whoever invented this is a generous and must have the same problems we have with kids not leaving the nightlights alone.

  Here we were watching the lights on the ceiling.  It was pitch black in our living room but because of the flash you can't tell that.  Oh well it was still really cool and all the kids loved it.  Therefore you know what the other two will be getting eventually.

I tried taking a picture of it on her bookshelf this morning and it shows it a little better.  At least you can see the ladybug better.
