Here is a January review of what has been keeping us from getting our work done. :)
Some of the family that could make it had a little gathering for Big Grama's birthday. It was nice to see Big Grama & Big Grapa along with some of the other relatives there.
Harry was so excited to hang out with his cousin Brayden who is exactly 2 months older then him. They loved to hang out in front of the door as Smoke (the dog) was on the other side just waiting to see if they would let him in.
Hauling wood to the house is not always a chore...it can be lots of fun too.
Ellaree got a late birthday gift from Emily. She got an American Girl tote bag where you had to sew flowers together and then put them on the bag to design it just the way you want it. She loved the gift and this was her first sewing experience. I should say though she was not a fan of poking her finger. OUCH!
One of Ellaree's school projects she made.
We had Christmas with the Thompson's a little late but that was ok. Seeing them was worth it. The kids loved seeing Adi and I am sure she went home tuckered out that night.
Sledding is a must at our house. Unfortunately this time around Lil Harry was napping and missed out on the fun. Sometimes we have a good train system going on as one is hooked to next. The kids love the sled trains.
Mr. Harry is a master at utensils now...well getting it to his mouth. Still not so much on stabbing the food but we are working on it. Pudding he was able to do himself.
No we are not really pushing Harry to potty train but if he wants to sit on it while sissy does then more power to a diaper free house!
And last but of course not least....Ellaree's other project from school. Her gingerbread man. This little man here is what caused so much ruckus with the bead in her nose. The bead was glued onto him and when it fell off she decided she needed to hide it from me...in the nose! If you ask her...she is never doing that ever again!!!! I think she learned her lesson.
