When we started talking about the MS walk Ellaree was all ears. I explained what it was for and how we would go walking just like we do each year for the breast cancer walk. I explained we would raise money to help with resources for Aunt Kassy to hopefully find a cure to MS. Well this really got Ellaree thinking. Before you new it she was coming to me and telling me she wanted to raise money herself. So we made a plan as to how she could do this.
Yesterday I drove her back to school at 3 in the afternoon so that she could visit with teachers and staff after school and ask them to help her raise money. It was a very moving time for all of us. She had many teachers, and her momma too, in tears to think that this little 4 year old would go around asking for their sponsorship in her mission to raise money for her aunt. I was so proud of her. When it was all said and done she raised over $130 dollars in 1 hour.
