Sunday Harry had off. It was so nice. Earlier in the week we had talked about heading down to Chicago to see family and friends...but of course it was all talk after the deer hit me. That stinken deer caused a lot of damage and change in plans. We stayed at home and hung out with the girls and after Lorelai's morning nap we headed into LaCrosse to get Harry some khaki pants (sorry Sam) and get my parents new camping chairs for their anniversary. Oh and don't forget we had to stop for lunch too. A trip into town would not be complete without lunch! All in all it was a very relaxing day with the family.
Monday Harry had to work but the girls and I headed on down to Grapa & Grama's for their annual Labor Day Celebration. There are festivities going on just a block away from their house and there is always a parade. Elly screamed every time they threw candy at her and I am surprised her little arm didn't come right off as hard as she was waving back and fourth for them them to see her. Haha she was very cute. Lorelai unfortunately missed the parade as she was napping back at Grama's. Maybe next year! It was a great time hanging out with family and friends and by 6:30 when we headed home I had one tired out little girl...who is still sleeping.
Now today it is back to the grind at work. Today also is the girls first day at Tiffany's. It will be interesting to see how they do at her house as I have always been there with them when we have went there and they don't get to lounge at home in their jammie dresses for however long they want anymore. But as I have reminded Elly, and she in return has reminded me, it is only until Santa Claus comes and then I can stay at home every day with momma. Well actually I start maternity leave on December 20th, just so I can have a nice stress-free Christmas but she has got the concept down.
