Through The Night

Well it seems that maybe Harry is coming down with what the girls had last week. He came home last night with a fever and not feeling well. But on the plus side by the end of the night he was feeling much better with his fever gone. So hopefully taking some Tylenol helped kick it.

Remember I had mentioned a while ago that I thought that Lorelai was saying Momma but I just was not sure. Well yesterday she was saying Momma clear as day. And if I left her side for a minute or got tired the Momma came out even more forceful. It is very cute. Of course, last night Harry was trying to get her to say Daddy. I just laughed because with Ellaree her first word was Daddy...so it was my turn. But when Momma is being yelled at you at 11:30 at night, that is not so cute. Lorelai woke up at 10:30 wanting to eat...this is only after 3 hours of being put to bed and I was not giving into her. Call me a bad mom but really with Ellaree we had her sleeping through the night at 4 months. We let her cry it out also and within two nights she was sleeping through the night. So when she woke at 10:30 I decided there and then that I was not picking her up, not feeding her and she was going to cry it out. Well obviously Harry was not overly enthused over this idea as she cried for 45 minutes. But in the end she went back to sleep and slept until 4 AM. So really she was just fine. And let me remind you that she was not crying hysterically or I would have picked her up. It was more of annoyed "why are you not picking me up" cry. Like I said she got over it and went to sleep. Surprisingly Ellaree slept through it. And that was my big reason for waiting until 7 months vs 4 months to let her cry it out was because of waking Ellaree. Last night I was in a not much caring mood who she woke since I was not sleeping either. But of course once Lorelai went back to sleep, I couldn't. Figures, right. So we will see how tonight goes.

Harry is finally in the truck today. After two days of orientation he is finally going to get his feet wet in a truck. He is headed to Greensboro. I believe that is in Minnesota. Anyway, he needed to be there by 5 this morning. So that is kind of exciting as he just wants to get in there and get started. He said there is a lot of information to take in at orientation and he came home every night with a headache from processing. He was laughing as he said that the HR lady that did his orientation was her first time. He was telling her and another guy more about retirement and FMLA then she new.

Well sorry but this will not be proofed before I send it out as I have a little monkey upstairs that is awake and I had better go get her before she wakes up the princess! That would not go over good. Will post more after my appointment today with Lil Harry.
