Thursday has come and gone in a whirlwind. Isn't that usually how vacations go but when you are talking work it drags on forever!
Start off by saying Happy Birthday Grama and we hope you had a great day with Grapa. I am glad that he had the day off to spend with you.
Harry is in the process of switching his route around and so he didn't have to get up until 5:45 AM this morning vs 1:30...the kids heard him and woke up but that was ok because they enjoyed themselves having breakfast with him. It was a great time until it was time for him to go to work...bummer! But we are continuing to look at the bright side of this...they got to see Daddy for 30 minutes this morning. Oh the little pleasures in life that make us happy.
We first went to Tiffany's house and had a play date with the kids. As Elly approached she was not sure off all the kids, a fun shy stage she is going through, but after a while got over it. Lorelai just dug right in and started playing with the chew toys...no she is not a dog but teething sometimes you would think she was.
I had to get an estimate on my truck from the deer damage. How can a deer make that much damage? I really did get lucky that it wasn't more then it was as it hit right by the front driver headlight, damaged the fender, bumper, driver door, back driver door and back end of my truck. WOWSER! So that took a while and depressing hour of my life. Thank God for insurance.
Lunch with Grama & Grapa for Grama's birthday at A&W Root beer...I love their food. Elly of course sucked down the root beer float and had to bribe her to eat her cheeseburger by showing her the pickles inside. What a silly girl...oh I am sorry, her name is not Elly today, it is Princess Fiona from Shrek. Oh yes we are someone new everyday.
Home for naps which is so peaceful right now. I am getting some much needed book keeping done on the computer and sneaking 5 minutes of blogging time in while I have it. :)
Home with the kids the rest of the rainy day...life is good.
