Today is Harry's first day at Kwik Trip. It seemed weird having him here this morning to eat breakfast and help with the kids. But at the same time it was really nice to not have to see him get up so early. I am sure that once he gets going with these routes he will have to get up a little earlier but I am guessing there will be no more 1:30 AM for him.
We are so happy with his decision but at the same time I know that it is bothering him about leaving Sampson Trucking because he truly liked working for Al, working with the farmers and enjoyed driving truck. But unfortunately the health insurance, more pay and more time with his family was huge factors in his decision. Trust me he did not make this decision lightly as he would go back and fourth. One day he was staying with Al and then the next day he was going with Kwik Trip. He about drove me nuts but I know that is what he needed to do to make his decision.
The girls are feeling better. You would never have known that Ellaree had a viral infection last week and Lorelai is getting better but taking a little longer. Poor little ladies need to just feel better. I have my monthly appointment on Thursday to see how Lil Harry is doing.
