Bye Bye Nuk Nuk

Well the Nuk Nuk has been put away for Little Harry a little sooner then I thought. I have Wednesday through next Tuesday off and I was going to take that time to take the Nuk Nuk away from Lorelai but it happened sooner then that. Sunday night the girls went to Aunt Jen's to spend the night, well Lorelai didn't fuss for the Nuk Nuk and to be honest Aunt Jen forgot about using it. Therefore I was not turning back. I put them in the dishwasher last night and cleaned them and they are already in the tote for Little Harry. Last night went pretty easy. She fussed and cried for about 2 minutes tops and then fell asleep. Same with this morning after her bottle. I think it might be easier to get it away from her then I thought. I probably just sabotaged it by saying that but all in all it has not been bad, so far. I definitely wanted it out of sight, out of mind before Little Harry came along. She was using it for a teether more then anything but the big thing was that she was starting to wake herself up in the night when she would spit it out. Not ok with momma!

I believe that she is trying to say momma. It could just be me hoping and wishing but really Lorelai gets started and she does the whole "mmmmmmmmmmm". She loves to give kisses but loves loves loves to give hugs. She is so snugly. I remember the day when my little Ellaree use to love to give me hugs and kisses. She still does but usually on her terms and if she is not too busy. Also, Lorelai loves to roll. Seriously she is like one of those kids that rolls down the hills. That is her way of transportation these days. Although if she is on her belly she will go back and fourth so I don't think it will be long and those little legs will start crawling. And then the fun will really start. Lorelai has her 2 bottom teeth and I believe she is trying to get the top ones in.

Ellaree these days is just fun! She loves crafts and loves to keep me on my toes as to what is next. Her little imagination these days is so much fun. One day she is mommy, the next day she is Cloe from the show Clifford. But most days she is mermaid princess. Ellaree knows her alphabet, numbers to 12, colors, shapes, sounds of alphabet, and how to write her letters. At this point I think I will home school through preschool and then start at the Kindergarten level.

Well I suppose I had better go finish getting ready for work. I have wrote more then I was going therefore have been on my blog posting longer then I should. :) Trials and tribulations.
