Ellaree's 1st Dentist Appointment

Ok so about a month ago I wrote that Ellaree was going to her first dentist appointment. Well that is what momma thought. Anyway, come to find out they just have them sit in the big chair and make a big deal out of it the first time. Just to see how they do and then they will go from there. Angie, the hygienist, said that some kids have to come 3 or 4 times before they feel comfortable with letting her do anything. Not my girl! She was disappointed that she didn't get anything done. Well August 11th we had our official first visit with getting her teeth cleaned by Angie to having Dr. Kujak (Koo-e-ak) come in and look at her nice healthy, white teeth. We did really good all except for when we brought up Dr. Kujak's name and then Ellaree got a little nervous. I had to hold her hand while he looked in her mouth but other then that she was a champ. Good thing we waited until this time also because the first time around I forgot my camera. Way to go momma!

This shot was a little hard to take as I was holding Ellaree's hand and trying to take a picture at the same time. But we got the job done and all the teeth are clean and accounted for. No cavities and she got a boatload of goodies to take home with her.
