Movie Time!

Today was Harry's day off and while Liza and him were sleeping in, Elly was painting, I decided I could peruse around the Internet and see what was happening since it was storming out and we couldn't cut wood today....yes cut wood is right around the corner and I just can't wait (sarcasm)! Anyway, I found at the Rivoli Theater in LaCrosse that they were showing a Strawberry Shortcake movie but only at noon. Rivoli Theater is a pretty cheap place to go unless you order the food which then can start getting a little pricey but the admission is cheap enough.

Anyway, all the way into the movie Elly kept saying "This is so exciting". As this was her first time ever going to the movies. The girls both did great. We did it up right with pizza, pop and the movie. Elly sat perfectly still and watched the whole thing with only one bathroom break where we got half way there and she decided she might miss something and proclaimed she could wait until after the movie to go. Which surprisingly with her UTI problems this week she did wait. Liza did amazingly well also. With her being so small I had mentally prepared myself that I might be out in the foyer with her and/or in the truck driving around. You just never know at this age. But she did great. She watched intently and then half way through decided that it was way past her nap time and went to sleep. It was a great family day! Sometimes the unplanned days are better than the planned.
