Well today was yet another eventful day at Dr. Nancy's office. Lorelai and I were suppose to be the only ones having appointments but since Ellaree is still having problems with her UTI's we had her checked out also. After 10 days of having amoxicillion and cream for yeast, she is still not completely over it. Ellaree complains of not feeling well, her bottom hurting and having he urge to have to vomit even though she does not. She needs to continue with her cream and hopefully she will kick this. Her amoxicillion was done today. Otherwise it will be time to do an ultrasound to check her kidneys and bladder.
Lorelai had her 6 month appointment today.
Weight ~ 18 lbs 13 oz; 91%
Height ~ 26 inches; 56%
Head ~ 17 1/2 inches; 94%
3 shots & 1 oral!
While checking her ears, eyes and vitals, Dr. Nancy did detech a faint heart murmur. This is very common in this age group (please do not over react and think it is something huge). We will continue to monitor it at her checkups. I believe that at this age Ellaree also had one and grew out of it after a checkup or two. Otherwise she is perfectly healthy.
Then mommy was up to bat. We could not find the heart beat of the baby due to it being so low. So, darn it all, but we had to get the ultrasound out. Now before you get all excited, yes we tried to find out the sex but it was being a big ol' turkey and wouldn't let us see. Also, the ultrasound machine is not the greatest therefore hopefully next week we have better luck but Dr. Nancy does suspect that it is a boy. Baby looks great and you could see the heart beat even though you couldn't hear it. Baby is very low and hopefully this is a sign that I will go early before the new year would be great!
