Where to go from here...

Tuesday while in LaCrosse running errands with my mom I received a phone call from Fransciscan Skemp Health Care asking if I was still interested in the medical receptionist position. A couple of weeks ago I had applied for a position but received an email saying that they filled it internally. So I was very surprised when I got this phone call. So of course I went to the interview this morning at 8 AM. I forgot what time you have to get up to get out the door at that time with a little one. Anyway, the lady that interviewed me didn't realize that the other position that I had applied for was part-time and this one was full-time. So while talking to her she mentioned hours and I about flipped when I saw the hours. She asked me if I would see a problem with working these hours. Don't get me wrong working full-time would not be the end of the world but I really like my days that I have off and get to spend with Elly. I explained to her that if I could work 32 hours per week that would be ideal for me as then I would still be able to have one day a week to schedule appointments and run errands or just stay home and get things done around there. We continued on with the interview but I have my doubts that I will get a phone call saying that they want me. The other delema would be that I would be going the other direction so to go to daycare would be 30 minutes out of my way unless Harry would drop her off and pick her up in the milk truck which would be a lot for him and her. Therefore, we have a lot of discussion and prayer to do before the phone rings or doesn't ring.

What a nice husband I have....Tuesday I bought myself from my husband for my birthday a mother's ring. I have been wanting one for a really long time. It all started when he went out and bought a very expensive tool without asking first. The rule in our house is if we are going to spend over $100 we have to get approval from the other party. So when he came home Friday night with the tool and forgot to pickup the phone I decided I was going to buy myself something. Of course, mine was not as expensive and I did call him to tell him that I found what I wanted and asked if he wanted to come in and pick it up for me and give it to me for my birthday or did he just want me to bring it home with me. Well a smart man would say just bring it home with you. What a smart and handsome man I have married. I didn't need it fitted or nothing. I got to wear it out of the store. That is right I am wearing it before my birthday. :)
