Yucky Week

Where do I begin. Monday was a good day for Elly as she spent the day with our friend Lisa. It sounds like they had a blast. Tuesday Elly and I went into LaCrosse to have my last hCG levels taken. They came back as 18 so that means that they are going down like they should be and that it was confirmed that it was indeed a miscarriage. So hopefully no more poking for a while. We spent the day with Lisa running errands but when we ended up at McDonald's for lunch, Elly had other plans. She threw up all over. Poor girl was just miserable. I cleaned her up and around our area and when I put her down in her seat she started in eating again like nothing had ever happened. I was so concerned since she still has this rash around for over 3 weeks that no one can figure out what it is. So I called and got her in to see her doctor. They don't think that the throwing up and the rash are connected. They had us set up an appointment with Dermatology to get her rash checked out but unfortunately the first available is September 4th. So hopefully it will be gone before the appointment.

Well we found out Wednesday night that the rash and throwing up are not connected as I am now sick. I think we have the summer flu. As Elly says "YUCKY"! So today was a jammy day with eating snacks on the couch all day. She has been wonderful with just hanging out on the couch with mommy. What a great little bugaboo we have. Hopefully I am feeling better by tomorrow so that I can go to work.
