Last night we had our first official big thump in the night...Elly fell out of bed. I know I had wrote before that she did but that was when the mattress was on the floor so there was not far to go. Last night was the real deal. My goodness was there a lot of dead weight behind that thump. I was very proud of her though, she cried, we put her back in bed, didn't want mommy or daddy to sleep with her and went right back to sleep. I figured she might be scared to go back to bed but she wasn't. Boy is she getting to be a big girl.

Nap Time Update: I got great advise from Aunt Beth that she use to do Read & Rest Time with her kids when they got to be this age. Well we call it Quiet Time but same principals apply. I have her go up to her bed, give her some books and tell her that the timer is set and that I will be back up to get her when the timer goes off. Sometimes she falls asleep and sometimes not. But all in all, my stress level over this new diversion is really good. The only downfall is that if she decided that day that she is not sleeping, then she goes to bed around 7 versus 8:30 due to being extremely tired and ornery. But I guess those are the consequences.

Me Update: I am doing better. The diet must be helping because I have not passed out since Thursday evening. I am going back to work today. Not much time left before I will be done there so I want to help out as much as possible. I am now just tired, uncomfortable and restless. But otherwise we are good to go!
