So if you haven't guessed it already - we are putting in a new engine in our pickup. Why might you ask would we do that instead of just going and buying a new pickup truck. 2 answers.
1. It is way cheaper.
2. The bank is not really loaning money out right now. Or should I say doesn't want to unless they absolutely have to.
3. Ok so there is 3 answers....plus that would mean a larger loan payment. (Ok so 1 & 3 kind of go together).
Anyway, the old engine is out and the new engine is in. Thanks Dad for coming up and helping. It was a tremendous help.
While the guys were doing that, mom & I were in the kitchen working hard on goodies for the annual Labor Day Celebration at their house tomorrow. 3 pans of bars & 1 pie later we were finally done.
It has been a long but successful day of getting things done. Now to get my husband to leave the garage for the night. :)
