Last night it was very sweet of Elly as we were telling her that we were getting the details figured out so that we could go to Canada and we were naming off all the relatives that she was going to get to see again and meet for the first time when she asked if she was going to get to see Grandfather. It was a very precious moment as she was so excited to see him again. I thought it was very sweet that he had become so dear in her heart for only meeting him the one time. We tried to explain that Grandfather was no longer with us but in heaven with God. Her answer was "oh" and just kind of looked at me a little confused. I told her that it was alright and that he was in a better place along with Great Grandmother. That seemed to make things better.
Grandfather will always be near and dear to our hearts and we thank God every day for the time that we got to spend with him.
