Yes, this is our last Christmas for 2008. It will feel like it was just yesterday and it will be time to have Christmas all over again. We had a great time. We left Saturday night at 6 and got to Barrington a little after 10. We stayed at Grandpa Harry & Nonie's house. You would have thought we could have taken Elly straight upstairs and she would have slept all night long but of course with a kid when you want it to go one way, it goes the other. So we ALL were up until way past midnight. And then Elly was up and ready to wake Grandpa Harry & Nonie up by 6:30 AM. It was lots of fun to hear her in their bedroom with them. After breakfast we were off to Grandmother's house we go....

Elly loved to play Grandmother's piano. Maybe this is an indication that in the near future she will play in the symphony.

Elly opening her Little People Nativity Set. This will be lots of fun to explain Jesus' birth.

Elly and Uncle Dave got along really well. Not sure who was the bigger kid.

Also, another big kid was Aunt Meredith. Aunt Meredith was showing Elly all the ins and outs of having a very cool tent.

While there Sue & Don Whitney came over to visit with us. Here is Aunt Allison introducing Elly to Sue.

Uncle Dave, Elly, Aunt Cindy and don't forget Elly's new baby.

Elly opening her gift from Uncle Dave & Aunt Cindy - mega blocks. Elly plays constantly with these.

Grandmother opening her gift from Elly. A personalized calendar so that Grandmother can see the changes of Elly from the past year.

Grandmother, Elly, Aunt Allison and again baby. Elly really likes her new baby. Her and daddy have already changed her clothes and she puts her down for night night a lot!

Also, while we were there, Fred & Michelle Mahler visited. Here is Elly opening her Winnie the Pooh that sings and plays the cymbals. She really likes this one too.
