Snap shots

Our friend, Lisa was out on Friday night and spent the day with Elly and me on Saturday shopping at Farm & Fleet at their opening of Toyland. Then Lisa took Elly so that Harry and I could go to my appointment with no distractions. It is so nice to have Lisa available to help out. She is a great friend and Elly loves her coming out.

Her friendship with Harry and I reminds me of my friendship with Todd and Laurie when I first lived in Madison. I spent a lot of time at their house but more then that I like to steal Mikaila at the time and now I like to try and steal all three of the kids when I can. :) Mikaila is actually the one that started calling me AJ and it has stuck. Lisa is like that in wanting to steal Elly every once in a while and giving mommy and daddy a break. Hmm, that gives me a thought that we need to think of a nickname for Lisa. :) Elly and Lisa looking at Elly's picture book. While I was at home recovering from surgery I printed of pictures of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, mommy, daddy and of course Bugaboo is on the front. Elly loves looking at her family and it helps her remember who all are.Lisa if I sit on your lap and pretend to be listening to this book then mommy won't make me put my jammies on. Ok, deal.

I am getting this blog updated with no interuptions as I am home alone. Harry and Elly left about half an hour ago to go to Grandpa Harry and Nana's farm. Grandpa Harry, Harry and my dad are going to cut wood while Nana plays with Elly. I will go over later but I am taking family pictures for some of my friends, The Korn's. It is a win win situation as mommy gets some things done and Nana gets to play!
