October 20th through October 25th is National Infertility Awareness Week. According to the Resolve website, 7.3 million Americans are affected by infertility. The infertile are many, but often quiet. Find one small way this week to raise awareness.

I know that this is not funny but at the same time I need to share with you what Elly did to me this week. Thank goodness she is not able to read this and find out that her mommy is laughing when really is shouldn't be that funny. I don't remember what Elly was doing but she was not suppose to and therefore I told her no. She has learned to scream at me when things are not going just the way she would like. So I told her that screaming was not acceptable and told her that she was naughty. When she knows that she is in big trouble she will come over and give me a kiss and hug. I believe she thinks this is suppose to make all things better. After she gave me her hug and kiss I told her thank you for the love but told her I was still upset with her. Well she must have taken this as an insult as she came back to me to give me another kiss. But what I was not prepared for was when she went to give me a kiss she bit down on my lip and would not give in. She bit down really hard. I had a very hard time getting my lip back. This entailed me telling her that she was naughty and walking out of the room to laugh. What will this very independent, strong-willed child think up next?
