Preparation

I can not believe that in less than a month Elly will officially be 1. It doesn't seem possible. It seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. Up all hours of the night feeding, changing diapers and trying to figure out what she wanted or didn't want. Just getting accustomed to each other. Now we are still getting up in the night with her but not as often and only when teething. Otherwise she sleeps through the night. She went from being this little helpless bundle of joy, or as Harry called her...a blob, to this very independent baby girl. Since day one I have tried to enjoy ever minute with her, even through the screaming in the middle of the night to all the smiles and kisses that she gives me. I hope that I don't forget or miss out on any part of her growing up.

I have started, months ago, to prepare for her birthday party. I can't wait to celebrate her day!!! It will be lots of fun with all our loved ones surrounding us. I am hoping and definitely praying that it is a nice day and no rain.

Work related - I was told yesterday, not by my supervisor, that I might be moving to Cashton on May 23rd to start my new position. Well I guess you can't say new position as it is more of just relocating and reducing my hours. Still doing the same job. I am hoping to find out definitely tomorrow at our meeting when I move and start my new hours. I will go from 40 hours a week down to 24 hours a week, Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Grandma Hornby isn't liking the idea much as she will lose out on her Tuesday's but I am sure that I will still need her to watch Elly every once in a while.
