I never thought staying home for a day with Harry and Elly would sound so good. For once we are all home together for part of a day. Wow I forgot how nice that was. Of course, this afternoon it is run run run but for right now I am basking in the delight of being home with my family. There are times that you get so caught up in being busy busy busy that you forget to stop for even an hour and just hang out as a family. I am glad that we are able to do that today and that we are getting some things done on our list before Elly's birthday party.
Elly is walking everywhere. I am sure I tell you this every time I write but she gets better and better every day. Of course, you can tell when she is getting tired because then she looks like an ol' drunken sailer. :) She is quite the chatterbox these days. Just wait until we can understand what she is saying. That will be interesting to finally know what she is thinking and expressing with great delight.
We are finally going today to meet Landon McGuire Turgasen. I can't believe that Harry has made me wait this long to go and see him. I hope I remember how to hold a newborn. Even with Elly being almost 1, there are things that I have forgotten how you do with a newborn. I am sure it is like riding a bike.
So this morning I was so disguested with myself as last night I took pictures of Elly for her 1 year pictures. As I was taking a picture of her this morning that I didn't like I erased all the pictures on my camera card. How disguesting is that. So of course now I need to go and do her pictures again. Granted I didn't find one that I really liked when I took them but you never know, one might have grown on me. But now I am back to square one. Oh well.
I guess that is all for now. I am going to get off now as I was just bragging about spending time with my family and yet I am in here, Elly is sleeping and Harry is working outside. But it is just the point that everyone is home.
