How Beautiful/so thankful

I am sitting here listening to Twila Paris "How Beautiful" and the birds singing. I am overwhelmed at how peaceful it is right now and how much God loves us so much that he gave us such a beautiful place to live. We are so thankful that we have the farm to live at. What an awesome opportunity for Elly to grow up and have animals and the land surrounding her for her to explore each and every day. I am just so thankful to have all the family and friends that we do in our lives. And it just keeps growing as Wednesday Mark & Rachel had a beautiful baby boy - Landen McGuire. I can't wait to go and see him.

Every day there is something to be thankful for as long as we look for it. There is sometimes too much negativity in our world that we forget to look at the positive and what God has given us right in front of us. I know that these last couple of weeks I have been very negative as to Harry working so much. You would think milking cows and hauling milk would be enough but he has also been helping my parents tare off and put on a medal roof, fixing tractors for local farmers and other miscellaneous jobs. Sometimes I feel like Elly and I are last on his list but in all reality he is doing it ALL for us and we are always number 1 on his list. I need to remind myself a lot that I am thankful that I have a hardworking husband that he isn't afraid of work and loves to work, sometimes too much. I am thankful that he has a job with the way the economy is. Our lives could be totally different if he wasn't a hard worker. I am thankful for God giving me Harry in my life and how much I grow to love him more and more every day. I don't know what I did with my life before he was in it. And lets not forget little missy. What a joy she has become in our lives. The other night as we are so tired, she was wide awake. She usually goes to bed around 8 or 8:30. This night she was wide awake still at 10:15. So we finally took her up to her bed and she just played/talked until she was ready to go to sleep. But as she was playing we were laying in bed laughing as she was talking away in her own little tongue as if we knew exactly what she was saying. God has blessed me and my family beyond imaginable.

I wish you the best Sunday ever.

Here is Elly reading - she loves to read books.

Here is Elly & Maddie at Grandma & Papa's. Cousin Maddie loves to push Elly in the stroller.
