Honeymoon Weekend

For those that don't know, November will be 5 years of marriage for Harry and I. Due to living life when we got married we did not get to go on a honeymoon right away like most couples do. Now with 3 small beautiful children we don't feel it is right leaving them for a week or more to go vacationing while someone else has to take care of them. I know a handful of people that would take on the challenge but we don't feel it is right and as you just read on my earlier post it is not economical either at this time. Therefore we have decided to go on "mini" honeymoons. Our first one will be this coming weekend on October 8-9. We will be going to Minneapolis to the orchestra as Harry's cousin Matthew plays the violin. We are so excited to go, visit with Matthew and just relax for one night. We will continue to do this from time to time as we don't usually get date nights for numerous reasons. 
We are so thankful we have family that is willing to help out with the kids so we can make this happen.  The kids will spend the weekend at the farm with Papa Harry and Nonie.  They will be heartbroken to see us leave...ummm no!  I am very excited as I have never been to the orchestra, haven't seen Matthew since our wedding and the most exciting part of all is not repeating a story 3 times to Harry, not having to share my food on my plate, eating hot food, and being able to sit next to Harry without it being a competition.
