Miss Ellaree's first day of school was a success! We got there this morning with plenty of time to eat breakfast. Ellaree's request...not mine. Aunt Laura was done dropping off Cole & Karlee so she helped me with Lorelai and Harry, which was a huge help. As we were heading to Ellaree's classroom she mentioned to me again that I will be dropping her off for now on as she was not overly thrilled that I was walking her in this morning. Mr. Harger had to remind her to say goodbye to me before she walked into her classroom. I would say she was a little eager this morning.
When I picked her up she was disappointed that she does not get to stay the whole day. I have not informed her of next year that she will be there all day otherwise she will be wishing this year away for next year. Sounds like she had a good morning and is aleady asking when she gets to go back.
I do have to say that I was very much ok with my baby girl going to school today. No tears for anyone. I am proud of my girl that she is a bright independant person that knows what she wants and goes after it, isn't afraid of change and loves to learn. I couldn't ask for anything more or less from her. We are so very proud of her.
