Old McDonald Had A Farm

E-I-E-I-O! Friday afternoon our friend came and got Ellaree. The plan was that they would keep her until Sunday afternoon. I was a little skeptical as to her staying overnight and told them to call if we needed to come and get her. Well Friday night went well and was reported that Delaney and Ellaree sounded like two 16 year olds up in Delaney's room giggling after they got put to bed. Heard all was going fine on Saturday but come darktime I got a phone call with tears that Ellaree wanted to come home. Rachel said they didn't even hit Readstown, which is about 5 miles from their house, and Ellaree was out cold. She never woke up when Rachel transferred her to our car and she never woke when Grama brought her in. She was exhausted. Before leaving their house Ellaree told them that she would be back to spend the night again soon. Yup she was ready Sunday afternoon to go back but we told her it would have to be another time. It was very cute and I was glad that she had such a good time.

On another note all is going well here. Friday through today Grama was up to help out while Harry worked. And we have help through next Monday, by that time I should be good to go with not needing too much help, maybe a little here and there.

Tuesday this week I get my staples out and next Monday I get my catheter out. I am excited to get my catheter out as it is just a pain in my side to have to change it out all the time. Gives me a new appreciation for going to the bathroom.
