Kentucky Trip-Day 1

This trip could get a little lengthy so I am going to split it up into days.

Monday, Feb. 28th Harry got home from his route and took a quick 3 hour nap while I took care of last minute preparations. We were on the road by 12:45 pm, right in time for naps! The kids traveled amazing and we were at Grammy's house by 1:15 AM, March 1st. We were able to get a little bit of rest before the kids were up and ready to go see the family, cats, Muffin the dog, Wendy the horse and much more!
Cousin Al was a hit with Ellaree, especially after she found out he would draw about anything for her. They did "paperwork" every night. It was very sweet! Cousin Al also took Ellaree to do chores every morning and night. Her chores consisted of feeding the all cats, Muffin the dog and Wendy the horse. She also did a lot of riding around in the farm truck and tractor with Al. He has gained himself a permanent buddy as on the way home Ellaree asked many times where Al was.

Aunt Beth is another favorite. Don't get me wrong all of them are our favorites but Ellaree helped a lot out in the kitchen with Aunt Beth and picked many flowers for the dinner table. She even learned how to peel her own apple.

Lil Harry had no troubles finding Aunt Beth when he wanted rocked!

For Valentines Day Grandmother got the kids these adorable matching Moose jammies along with a cute book about a moose. Lil Harry finally grew into his so I brought them along and got this very candid picture of the kids in front of Grammy's fireplace. I couldn't get a good picture of Lorelai's but on her bottom it says "Trailing A Little Behind".
