After two very long days for all of us I am finally home. Thanks to Aunt Laura and Ashley they watched the kids today while Harry came in to get me. It was good that we were able to focus on our teaching for the leg wrap catheter. It is not that difficult but still we wanted to make sure we new what we were doing. We got home around 2ish today and it was just nice to be home and out of a hospital bed. I helped give baths tonight, of course Harry didn't let me do much but I at least felt like I was doing something productive instead of just sitting in bed watching TV.
Also thanks to Emily, she went shopping for me and found me some nice sweatpants that don't show that I am even wearing the cath. It will definitely be a long 2 weeks but I am trying to be positive in thinking that if they would have waited 3-4 years before doing this it could have been much worse and it could have been where I would have had to wear the catheter much longer.
We definitely will have some trying times in the next 6 weeks but thankful that the good Lord has once again watched over us and provided us with the right path. We are in much need of more prayers down the road for a smooth recovery and for Harry to have plenty of sleep with trying to work and help out around here.
