Snow

Well here we are the first snowfall of the year and it is a doozy. We have gotten 4 1/2 inches of snow so far and still coming down. Elly is going to be so excited when she wakes up. Last night was the first night both girls have slept through the night...well Lorelai got up 3 times but I did not have to go in and get her. Therefore I call that success. I also heard Elly once but she also put herself back to sleep. All in all, we had a good night. With the weather Harry got home and started right away plowing the driveway. That was a fiasco, his new truck didn't have a plow bracket that worked and every place Harry went they wanted to sell him a new plow. Well he fabricated this one to work and I guess it didn't fall off so we are doing good. Plus it was a ton cheaper...I knew I loved him for a reason!

We went yesterday and got our Christmas tree. I was not going to go but thought better of it as I needed to get out of the house. The walls are closing in on me and I have only been at home since Thursday. So I went...we chose the 4th tree in and got it. It is a little shorter then normal but Elly sure liked it and she loved decorating. Grama has been staying with us at night and so last night I got the ornaments out of the box and Grama helped Elly put them on the tree. There are a couple of branches that have 4-6 ornaments on it...but it is beautiful. Grama also let us borrow one of her little trees to put in the girls room. Elly was pretty excited about that also.

Well I had better get off the computer. Even though Lorelai has Grama right now it is not doing the trick...
