Christmas with Grandmother

Last Monday kept Grandmother from coming and visiting with us due to the snow. But we were able to find another date very quickly for her to come up and have Christmas with us before Lil Harry was born.

Late Friday night Grandmother arrived. Unfortunately Elly had stayed up to wait for her and about 10 minutes before she got her Elly crashed.

Saturday morning was lots of fun as we had to wait to open gifts until after daddy woke up. So to keep up occupied in the meantime we did a Gingerbread house and tree. Mommy has never done one of these either so it was lots of fun. Of course we did our own thing and there is no way Santa is going to miss our house as the roof now says Ellaree and Lorelai!

Gifts were plentiful and the girls had lots of fun opening all the fun packages.

Lorelai received her Bitty baby this year. She loved her baby.

The day before Grandmother arrived we received a package in the mail from Uncle Dave and Aunt Cindy. So we put the gifts under the tree and were able to open those gifts with Grandmother.

And don't forget that Grandmother got gifts also. A homemade snowman filled with homemade hot cocoa and a personalized calendar of the girls.

Another treat was that Grandmother was able to stay until Sunday morning with us. This helped us all out as then Harry didn't need to worry that was I home alone with the girls.
