What is it?

Well the last couple of weeks have been quite interesting with getting up in the night screaming. Here are all of Elly's signs and you tell me if you know what it is...

1. No appetite
2. Whiny
3. REALLY BAD dirty diapers
4. Fever
5. Red cheeks
6. Clear runny nose

and last night...

7. Fever spiked to 102 degrees
8. Screaming for over an hour
9. Green runny nose

I believe that it is a combination of two things. Teething and a head cold. How can it be teething when she has all her teeth in, you ask. Well she has all her teeth but not her molars. I hear these are the worse. Explains getting up in the night screaming. I would if I had molars coming through my gums. Last nights symptoms says she has the common head cold that everyone is getting. So I have been up since 3:30 AM - yes AM - as Elly would sleep for about 20-30 minutes and then cry. I finally just laid her on the couch and started reading my book. Then I was awake and alert when she would need me. I believe that she has a sore throat to go with this combination. Poor little thing. So we are staying at home today. Maybe when she gets up if she is feeling better then I will go to work for a couple of hours but I really think we will stay at home today as I don't want to take her out in this frigid cold air and expose all the other daycare kids.

On a side note, today is Grandpa Hornby's cataract surgery at 10 AM in Viroqua. I am hoping to hear a progress report this afternoon. The doctor told Grandpa that the surgery alone is only like 20 minutes but he has to be in the hospital for 3 hours.
