Christmas Tree Farm & Rotary Lights

Yesterday was quite eventful. We went to the Christmas Tree Farm and to Rotary Lights. The snow pants and boots got quite the workout. We had so much fun!
First stop - Christmas Tree FarmWe started the day off by giving Elly a bath. But she found out that Clifford was on TV therefore we had to rush the bath. She was so excited to watch Clifford or as she calls him "uppy" that we did not have time for clothes. Here she is lounging on the couch covered with two blankets to stay warm with only her towel on her head and a diaper.
After much trudging through the snow, we finally found our Christmas tree. After you find your Christmas tree, cut it down and have it shook and wrapped; you get to go down to a cool rustic cabin for hot cocoa, cookies and buy crafts if you would like. It is so nice and cozy inside and the people that own it are great. One of the owners kids took our picture outside of the cabin.

Second stop - Rotary Lights in LaCrosse at the Riverside ParkWe got to the Rotary Lights right at 5 PM for two reasons. 1 so that it didn't get to bitterly cold for Elly and 2 so that we didn't have to wait in line for Santa. And we didn't. I think he had just gotten there because he was giving orders to one of his elf's. I got some pictures of Elly with Santa but she was really not sure about him. She never cried but the lip did come out at least once and she was very quick to come back to mommy when I went to pick her up from Santa's lap.
There was a very cool igloo that was warm inside halfway through so that you could warm up. We stopped for Elly and let her run around a little bit (well as much as possible in her snowsuit). Here is a picture of Mommy, Elly & Lisa warming up.
