Diagnosis

So yesterday Elly's temperature was as high as 101.7 but this was under the arm therefore you add a degree. So technically it was 102.7. So Harry and I decided that we should take her in just to make sure all is ok. Plus we are a little anxious after my former co-workers little boy pasted away of a fever. So I took her in. Found out that she has a sinus infection. This not common in this age group. See a pattern starting with Elly? They put her on zithromax for 5 days. And was told the general no signs of improvement within 2-3 days bring her back in. Her fevers come and go. When you give her the Tylenol and/or ibuprofen then the fever goes down but when it gets to that 2 hour, especially 3 hour mark she is very hot again. Therefore, I think that if it doesn't get much better by tonight I will be bringing her back in again tomorrow. The doctor said that the zithromax taste was good and she would have no problems taking it. Well he was wrong b/c she hates the taste. ha ha. Leave it to our child. So I have to put it in her juice to hide the flavor.
