Here goes the fun and games once again....I have been having some abnormal bleeding and cramping and so today I called into the doctor. Of course, what I figured he would say is to come in and be checked. Well sometimes it is better to be safe then sorry. What our miscarriage looked to be now is looking like an etopic pregnancy. How do we know that....well b/c it is still there. What does mean? This means that it will either discharge from my body naturally within one to two months and or I will have complications and need to have emergency surgery. Tomorrow I will go in and have an ultrasound done to make sure that the eternal bleeding is under control and he will measure it as well. Also, today I had labs done for my hCG, RBC, and TSH levels.
There are a couple of different etopic pregnancies that you can have...mine is where the hCG levels are like the stock market...they go up and then down and continue in that pattern. I am too late in the cycle to have the chemo shot to get rid of the pregnancy. The thing that is concerning to the doctor right now is why I quit bleeding and then started back up with a pause in there. And what to do next. Hopefully will have more answers tomorrow for you.
