Elly and her beads

As you might recall from the post titled "Steppin' Out in Pink" we received bead necklaces for each mile that we did and they also gave them to Elly. Well I am finally getting around to showing you the video of her putting her beads on and off. It is quite cute, if I do say so myself. Elly is quite fond of her beads.

Yesterday was Harry's 28th birthday. One of these days I will not be revealing ages. I gave him his options of wanting to go out to eat or when I got home from work I would cook him his choice meal. He decided he was going to grill tenderloins. Fine by me if I don't have to cook. They were great! It sounds like he had a good day. He said that it was just another day but hopefully Elly and I made it a little special. Today I baked him a blackberry pie so that when he gets home he has a special pie. You ask why it wasn't done on his birthday well because Tuesday I was running errands all day and then yesterday I was working all day. So today was the earliest I could get to it. Hopefully he forgives me for being late. :) It looks so good that I want to dig in and start eating it but that wouldn't be very nice if he came home and there was only one slice left for him.

I don't think that it was a good thing to go to Elly's 15 month checkup because ever since her checkup we have went down to one nap a day versus two like we were getting. I think my doctor jinxed us. Oh well as long as we are getting at least one nap in a day I guess I can't complain. I will start when we don't take naps at all anymore. :)
