Utterly Crazy Life

Yes lately that is the phrase I am using.  Utterly Crazy Life!  Work, Kids, Cattle, House, Side Jobs, Helping Others!  The list is long and we work from sunup to sundown but we are motivated to get it all done!  When will we rest, relax, vacation?  Not anytime soon. We have a goal and that goal will be met next year - God willing!  Our goal in sight is a farm 2 miles from Harry's dad's place.  Our goal is have no issues purchasing this farm.  The only issue would be if God has other plans for us but for the last 6 months God has been paving our path for us to move in this direction.  How many can say "we are buying a farm that hasn't been listed yet".  I hope I don't bore you but here is our story that can only be described as a "God Thing"!

In February my sisters family came up to for the day.  Yes they had an agenda...selling Girl Scout cookies but it is so nice to always see them.  So we are visiting while the kids are playing.  My sister makes the comment that their good friends are going to put up their place for sale as they want to build and she says how she called our brother because it would be perfect for them as it would be between his work and his wifes parents house.  As she's explaining how there's a house, pole shed and over 60 acres of land I look at her and say "and you didn't think of us why?"  She was under the impression that we wanted a farm like with barn, sheds, etc...basically like a dairy farm setup.  Nope just need a house, a shed or two and lots of land for cattle and tillable.  After finding out that my brother was not interested we told her that we were greatly interested.  That got the ball rolling.  She talked to her friends and we set up a time to go and see the place.  Gorgeous!  House is completely remodeled, dead end road, secluded, and lots of hills to see the cattle roaming.  Lots of talk, lots of praying on both ends and many dreams are being made.  God is leading us and we are excited.  In the mean time we Pray and Work!  My new phrase!
