Track and Field Day

I think I am going to have a hard time keeping up with Ellaree the rest of this week and next week.  Besides it being her birthday next week she has a ton of stuff going on at school that will keep me hopping.  By the time her birthday party is over next weekend I am going to be dragging I think.

Tuesday she had Track and Field Day at school.  She had a blast and thanks to Grama (once again) I was able to go and watch Ellaree.

In between races the kids were able to get their faces painted by the high school art students.  Ellaree got a butterfly and a flower on the other cheek.

Here is Ellaree with her BFF Carmyn.

Ellaree did the long jump, 50 yrd, 100 yd and 200 yd dash.  She is so serious when it comes to her racing.

Thankfully she had on a long sleeve white shirt and I was able to keep track of her from the stands.  Her gym teacher is telling them to run in a straight line therefore the reason they are all pointing forward for straight.

And she is off!

Each class was a different color.  This is great as they wear these shirts for field trips as well to keep track of the kids.  I love this rainbow idea.  You can see that Kindergarten (pink) is first.  Ellaree's teacher is on the left and peaking out from her is Ellaree.  Imagine that, Ellaree sitting my Ms. Johnson!

I have been blogging a lot about Ellaree lately because of all her stuff at school.  Here are some random pictures of the others as well.

We got to see Uncle Greg and Aunt Alissa over Memorial Day weekend at the farm.  We had a great lunch after church with them and Papa Harry & Nonie.  Hung out, rode some tractors, played on the tire swing, etc.  We had a great time seeing them.

Mr. Harry driving to work like daddy!

Lorelai driving the lawn mower all by herself.

It rained a lot this last weekend and it was a cold rain but I could not keep the kids out of the rain...so might as well play right along with them.

Lorelai's back tire got stuck and Harry was helping her get out.  What a sweet boy!

Lots more pictures to come as events keep coming up!
