100th Day of School

Ellaree had 100th day of school on Monday. She had to create something to wear that had 100 of something on it.  I read so many parents that were helping create a shirt or crown or some sort of thing that I wanted Ellaree to have something different.  Thanks to my good friend Amanda, who by the way is a preschool teacher, helped me think up a skirt with 100 strips.  We call it her rag skirt.  Then she had this cute shirt with a butterfly on it made with sequence and there has to be close to 100 of those if not more.  So there was our outfit.  Of course Ellaree was through the roof excited to wear this cute skirt.  Oh and my mom's friend & neighbor helped me sew the skirt together.  How wonderful of people I have in my life.

I went to school on Monday to help out with all the many activities they had going on.  Thanks to Grama for watching the two little ones while I was gone.  I of course had my camera in my purse the whole time but did not take one picture at school as I was too busy in the middle of all the activity.  All the kids loved having "Ellaree's mom" at school and I enjoyed it too.

We had a two hour delay for school that morning due to ice.  Therefore I had time to do double braids in her hair and she loved all the wonderful girly time we had.  That meant of course that Lorelai needed double braids and a skirt as well.  You should have seen all the curls when we took their braids out.
