Christmas Store Coming To You!

Below is a letter I just sent to our teachers at Kickapoo.  If you feel you are able to help in any way.  FOCUS would be greatly appreciative.

FOCUS is so excited to have their first annual Christmas Store for the elementary students (K-5). This will give the children an opportunity to buy an inexpensive gift for their parent(s) for as little as 25¢ per gift. FOCUS needs your help in acquiring these gifts and supplies. We are looking for Mommy & Daddy new or gently used gift items (no clothing please). For example…candles, jewelry, picture frames, ties, tools, etc. Basically anything laying around your house you would like to donate. Our goal is to have one gift per parent of each student, so as many things as you can donate would be greatly appreciated. All the items will be displayed for the students to look and shop. We will have a number of “Grandma & Grandpa” volunteers to help the students shop and wrap their gifts. The students will take their gifts with them when purchased and sent home the same day. We appreciate your contributions and help to make the children’s holiday season a little brighter! More information to come closer to time. We will begin collecting donations the beginning of the fall school year. Questions and/or ideas please contact JoEllen Hornby-Young at 608.780.8891 or hjyoungfarms@gmail.com. Thanks
