I had no idea how Harry would do staying at Abby's house without me. He is either with me or my parents for the most part therefore leaving him was going to be interesting. Not like when Ellaree was little and went to daycare. The pros and cons of daycare. When I left he looked mighty concerned but no crying. He is such a big little man. Abby said they both did great and were well behaved. What every mother wants to hear. :)
On Lorelai and I's part - we got a phone call coming back into Viroqua from Daddy asking if we wanted to do a lunch date. Who can turn that opportunity down. So we met at Culver's and did lunch. Lorelai was feeling pretty special being the only one. SSSHHH we didn't tell the other two. Then we headed to LaCrosse. We did some shopping and then it was salon time with Aunt Laura. Of course Aunt Laura gets to do the kids first haircut. She has done all 3 kids now. What a special memory.
Lorelai didn't really know what to think but she did a good job.
Of course Aunt Laura curled her hair which is a big girl deal!
The final touch! All done with a beautiful girl.
My shy little girl was very much talkative at the salon. You could tell she was the center of attention and was loving every bit of it. It was very cute when we all got home that the kids were making over her hair and they acted like they had not seen each other in a week. They were all hugs and kisses and laughing. It was such a beautiful sound in the house last night.
